Nikita stood at the doorway of her home, her two daughters already tucked into bed. A soft smile graced her face as she thanked Kyle, standing before her, for his help today. He’d helped her clean up after Lorraine went home and even read the girls a story. It had been a heartwarming sight, watching him spend the day with Evie and Mia who apparently adored him. Nikita however was not as overjoyed as Kyle. Once whatever this was fizzled out… the girls would miss him.
