Alexandra’s POV- “Lexi, Lexi, wake up beautiful,” Nicholas’ soft call, awoke me from my slumber. My eyes fluttered open, and landed on Nicholas, who was sitting on the bed next to me, hiding something behind his back. What could he be hiding? He smiled at me, “Good Morning, beautiful.” “Morning, Nick,” I groaned, rubbing my eyes. “Well, my love, I hope you like these,” he smiled, pulling a bouquet of two dozen red roses from behind his back. My heart fluttered, melting the hardened shell I had wrapped around my heart when James broke my heart. I could not believe that Nicholas had gotten me flowers, not just any either, my favorite kind of flower.
