Whitney came down stairs and she greeted her parents.

Mr waltz noticed the hollowness in her face.

she wasn't happy at all.

He could see it sense it and see it.

She's not happy at all.

She's not smiling as usual.

"what's wrong darling? why the sour face this morning?" Mr waltz asked.

"I'm fine dad,I'm... I'm fine". Whitney lied.

"Well you don't look it ,you can talk to us". Mrs waltz insisted.

"I said I'm fine" Whitney scolded.

"I'm off, see you later in the evening". Whitney got up and dashed out of the room.

"What's wrong with her? Is she alright?" Mrs waltz asked in a confused tone.

"Just leave her be. She'll come around and tell us the problem. Eat up". Mr waltz said patting her shoulder gently.

"You expect me to get married to her? She's just too innocent for my liking. she's nothing like u want in a woman. I want a fierce woman. A supernatural being.who can defend her self. One who is never scared, and not that little thin thing". Lucifer said pacing up and down.

"So does that explain why you went to her house to scare the ticker out if her?" Hugo asked furrowing his brows.

"Well that's not your f*****g business". Lucifer said sipping something from his tumbler cup.

"It is my business son. Why would you go there at the first place?"r Hugo said.

"I'll be leaving. Have something important to do." Lucifer said turning his back to go.

"You mean you have Whitney to disturb again?".

Lucifer turned and glared hardly at him before bringing out his wings and then he flew away.

"What's up Whitney? You don't seems happy today ". Chloe asked.

"It's nothing, puberty I guess". Whitney lied.

"Hmmm, puberty. You'll be 16 in two months time baby ". Amber said happily.

"No one's talking about mine birthday which is in two weeks time"

Jillian Clarkson said pretending to be angry.

"Come on bae, how can we not talk about it. I've got My surprise waiting impatiently". Whitney answered.

"Hmmm, that's why you're my favorite. Sorry, you're all my favorite". Jillian said.

"okay,okay guys. Our test is upcoming. let's study now". Whitney said bringing out her notebook and textbooks from her locker.

"Whitney the book warm" Chloe complemented.

"So first, let's work on bio chemistry" Whitney said flipping pages here and.

After closing hours, Whitney got home and took a warm shower.

She ate lunch and then settled on the chair her book on the Pink plastic table.

She supported her head with her left hand and a pen on the left.

"So,the pollution to do solution is dilution. Which means, when a chemical substance is put into a tube, applying black substance it immediately becomes a disaster to the substance. which makes it dilutional".

Whitney kept on reading until she fell asleep.

Thankfully it Friday so no school the next day.

Suddenly, Lucifer appeared at the chair before her.

He stare blankly at her fuming with anger how he'd be getting married to a human.

He looked at her carefully.

No doubt she is beautiful.

Her spotless white skin,pointed nose, ocean blue eyes,long dark raven hair,her long eye lashes, Curly hair, Red kissable lips and round chubby cheeks.

Whitney adjusted and she immediately placed her hand on LUCIFER'S left hand.

Lucifer tried to take it off but she instead held his wrist tightly.

"Mhmm". Whitney moaned.

He tried to take it off but she cling onto him.

Her hair fell covering a part of her face.

He stretched his arm towards her taking off the hair covering her face and tugging it behind her ears.

.He finally took off his hand from here and he brought out a black ink.

He opened it as he stood and walked behind her.

Lucifer began drawing a tatoo on her left neck and yet Whitney didn't notice.

He was done drawing it and immediately he vanished.

"Whitney?" Amber called.

"What?" Whitney asked.

"What's that at the dude of your neck? Amber asked.

"My neck? what's that?" Whitney said touching the spot.

"I'll take a selfie and show it to you". Amber said bringing out her phone.

"You mean,you have no idea how this came?"Mr waltz asked perplexed.

"Yes dad, I just met it there " Whitney answered touching her neck.

"Wait, this " Mrs waltz said.

"The devil's Mark. Lucifer was here?" Mr waltz said barely screaming his eyes popping out of its socket.

"Lucifer? The devil's Mark? Whitney asked confused.

"Yes the devil's Mark". Mrs waltz answered.

"What about it?" Whitney asked curious to know.

"Have anyone visited you recently? Like someone strange?". Mr waltz asked.

"Yes,yes. Um a handsome guy,with long hair,long black nails,red Bloody eyes and he was putting on all black. I think he's not human because he process some kind of supernatural powers " Whitney answered.

"Lucifer,is about time Mariam". Mr waltz said to Mrs waltz also called mariam.

"She's soon gonna be 16 and then be taken away from us micheal"Mariam cried.

"what's wrong mom? Dad, say something ". Whitney asked looking more confused.

"I'm sorry to say dear,but you, You are betrothed to Lucifer. A demon from the underworld" . Mr Hugo dropped the bombshell.

"What? To...to Lucifer? Whitney asked.

"Yes Lucifer,listen baby I know it's hard but......." Mrs waltz tried speaking.

"When,and how?"Whitney asked fighting back her tears.

"Before you were born,but ....." He wasn't done when Whitney ran upstairs shutting the door behind her.

she broke into tears,her heart aching.

she felt her world crashing right before her.

"My world! Oh my world!!!" Whitney cried................
