CHAPTER 7
Nelson opened the door and walked into the office. “What a mess,”
he mumbled to himself as he looked around the clutter.
With no one in the outer office, Nelson went to Ezra’s office door and knocked softly. He didn’t want to interrupt if the man was busy, but he needed to talk with Orion. His mate had come in to see him when he woke up, but then left. He knew Orion had meetings today, but they always shared the first meal of the day together, and Nelson found that he really hated that he had to eat alone.
As he sat in his room and watched out the window at the snow falling softly and the inches thickening, he felt all alone in the world and suddenly had the urge to see Orion. He was tired of being alone and feeling out of sorts. He was beginning to join the land of the livin
