Chapter 6 Noah had Wednesday off from the Irish Rose. That gave him another chance to think about what he was planning to do. It didn’t take him long to decide it was the right move, so at ten A.M., he was standing in front of the diner. “With my luck, he’ll be off doing something,” he said under his breath before knocking on the door. It opened so quickly Noah jumped back in surprise. Arik laughed. “I’m not psychic. I saw you across the street a minute ago and hoped you were coming here. Come on in.” Noah did, stopping to take in what Arik had done to the place. “You must have had a lot of help with this.” “Some. We worked long hours and I knew what I wanted to achieve.
