Chapter 9 Their new home was magnificent. As they pulled into the driveway, Shane couldn’t help but comment. “This is it? Our new home?” Michael pecked him on the cheek. “Yes, it is.” It was a white brick house with deep blue tiles on the roof. The window frames were a similar dark colour and the glass had double glazing. There was lawn but no garden apart from a tree planted a metre from the mailbox by the driveway. “You can afford this?” asked Shane. “I can afford about two thirds of it.
