Warning *Graphic content* Willa hurries off the floor, snatching the first thing she can find to cover herself. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were bringing someone home,” She confesses. Silas looks her up and down with a yearning-filled gaze but says nothing. Myles laughs. “Did you think I wanted you after today?” Willa notices Silas’s body tense at Myles’s words. “That is not a way to talk to your wife” He peers at Myles with annoyance in his eyes. “It’s fine. I should find some clothes,” Willa hurries, trying to walk past the men towards her room, but Myles clutches her arm. “You are an embarrassment, this is my top client, and you are strutting around in lingerie. It’s revolting. Go get dressed and put something that covers all your mom bod” He shoves her towards the hall. She struggles to hold back the tears from falling but cannot. Her spouse has just degraded her in front of Silas. She wipes the tears with the back of her hand but notices Silas gazes at Myles. He looks as if he could explode from rage at any moment. Silas steps towards Myles. “What you just said to her was uncalled for,” He snarls. “You should appreciate the woman who gave you children and gives you a nice place to come home to not all of us men get that in life.” Myles looks astonished. “After she had the kids, she just doesn’t do it for me anymore” He smiles, looking at her taking satisfaction from her torment. “I really think you need to reevaluate your standards, Myles, that woman right there is captivating in every way imaginable, and you are just an old fat piece of s**t if you ask me,” Silas growls, poking Myles in the chest. Forgetting she is in lingerie, Willa rushes over to the men separating them. “Please don’t do this. The kids are asleep,” She argues. Silas looks down to her bosom to see her n*****s are poking through the transparent fabric and his breaths get heavy, and his eyes flash with hunger. He has to force himself to look elsewhere. Willa looks down. “s**t!” covering herself once again. “Please, Silas, forgive me,” Myles pleads. Silas narrows his eyes at him. “Why would you be asking for my forgiveness? When you should ask for hers,” He says, pointing to Willa. Myles waves a hand in front of his face. “She will get over it. She always does.” Silas takes his attention away from Myles. “I would like to offer you a job at my office. Would you accept?” Silas asks. “Um...” Before she can respond, she gets cut off by Myles. “She can’t. She has children to take care of.” Silas glares at her husband, holding his hand up to shut Myles up. “I asked her, not you,” He growls, then faces Willa again. “Yes!” Willa answers, and Myles glares at her with displeasure. A devilish grin plays on Silas’s lips, clearly satisfied he won. “Perfect, I’ll see you tomorrow at 7 am,” and he rounds to leave. “Wait!” Willa calls, and Silas faces her again, tilting his head, curious about what she has to say. “I don’t have a babysitter for weekends. The kids are in school during the week, so would you mind if I start Monday?” Silas looks to Myles, who remains there flabbergasted. “He is their father. He is more than capable of watching his own kids, isn’t that right, Myles?” He slaps Myles back with force and knocks the wind out of him. He nods his head with approval while trying to catch his breath. “Great, See you tomorrow Willa” He shoots Willa a charming smile. “Okay, thank you!” Willa returns a bashful smile then strides off to bed. After Willa walks out of the room, Silas quickly grabs Myles by his suit collar, lifting him off the ground. “If you ever lay your hands on her again, you won’t be alive to do it a third time. Do you follow me?” He growls. “Ye… Yeah,” Myles stutters, his expression distraught. Silas drops Myles and goes for the door, peering back at him with a powerful glare. “I will know if you hurt her. I see everything” Then he took off without another word. Willa makes her cup of coffee in the kitchen after she gets dressed for her first day of work. She’s nervous but excited at the same time. This will be her first job. All she has experienced is being a wife and mother. Now is her chance to discover herself. After Willa got pregnant with Noah at 16, she chose what was best for her baby, so she married Myles, but as the years went by she had more kids, and Myles got more controlling, so she never thought this day would come for her to live her own life and maybe finally have the courage to leave her husband. Myles comes downstairs, sitting at the island with his gaze on Willa. “So you are really going to do it? Do you think that is fair for the children?” Willa rolls her eyes before turning to her husband. “Yes, I am because it is my time to do something for myself,” She declares, then sips from her mug. “Have fun with the kids. Liam will be home soon,” She informs her husband and wanders to the front door. Willa walks down the drive, coming to her Mercedes. She looks it over, realizing this car is purely for presentation. She pushes the garage door button, and it raises, displaying her 1973 Camaro Z28 that her grandfather left her in his will. The keys to it dangle on her keychain. She rips off the keys to the Mercedes and tosses them in the neighbor’s grass, then walks for her car that Myles would never let her use because it didn’t fit in his specifications. There is dust on the dash as she gets in, but yet looks the same as the day she picked it up from her grandma’s house. The interior is cream with Maroon strips over the leather and a 3 speed on the floor. The paint matches the Maroon stripes from the seats. Willa pushes in the clutch and turns the engine over, and the car purrs to life, and the rumble from the exhaust shakes the house. Not holding back, she steps on the gas and peels out of the drive.
