12 Bella the Goldsmith had become a wealthy dwarf. She could afford to buy expensive food and clothes. She had given up her gold-smithing and had become a shopkeeper: a jeweller. Like most jewellers, Bella was rich. The reason for Bella’s change of fortune was the beauty of Emily’s work. The girl was turning out three masterpieces a day.
