2. The Golden Moon pack

The Gold Moon Pack was not by far the biggest pack with only over 100 members nor its territory the largest but it had enough members to be prosperous and the territory accommodated every pack member's need.

On the outskirts of the Northern border sat the vast forest. The residential area was next to the forest which housed all 118 pack members. Each had a large modern home that consisted of an open planned kitchen/lounge and a half an acre back garden on the ground floor with the smallest of houses having a minimum of 4 large bedrooms with the larger houses having the same layout but up to 10 bedrooms to accommodate larger families on their first floors.

The pack house was in the middle of the residential area it was a large 50 roomed mansion able to accommodate guests from other packs. On the ground floor, it had a huge professional kitchen that as well as being used to cook meals for the pack would be used to cater for parties, it had a 200 seat dining room for formal events, a pack canteen that seated its 112 pack members comfortably, a small nursery creche for the pack house's domestic staff to leave their pups and a large games room that had 20 TV'S, games consoles, pool tables, a small movie theatre, a comfy area to host coffee mornings and the weekly book club and as well as kids play area. The first floor was the 50 guest rooms that were stylish and cosy. 

The second floor was a 10 room floor for the packs Beta Watt and his family and the third floor was a private floor re severed for the Alpha and his family. Although the pack house contained everything a pack member would need and was Glamorous, in no way seen as excessive compared to some of the luxurious 300 plus bedroom pack houses in other packs.

After the residential area was the village hall where meetings were held, the Alpha's office where the Alpha would deal with pack business, a pups playground for the younger pack members, and an impressive gym for training next to the training school both of which could accommodate 400 wolf's.

The town housing a modern 300-bed hospital, a school, restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, and a shopping mall was seated south of the pack's territory forming the border between the Golden Moons land and their neighbours the Crescent Moon Pack territory, open fields surrounded the pack on the East and West borders forming the East and West boundary lines. The Golden Moon territory was about 300 acres in total.

The Golden moon pack was also well respected amongst the werewolf kingdom with Its Alpha David's reputation for being fair and intelligent and its Luna's Sarah's reputation for her beauty, grace, and kindness it was a well-known pack that was seen as a small neutral pack blessed with many allies and its member's lived a peaceful quite live.

The majority of the pack members were farmers, Labourers, or businessmen who supported the pack by adding wealth to the pack funds however about 40 of the male pack members were strong well-trained warriors whose strength was famed throughout the kingdom.

The pack was also blessed with its Alpha and Luna producing not only an older Alpha female heir (Hanna) a very rare occurrence only witnessed usually once in a generation but also birthing twins another rarity in the werewolf world as twins were super strong wolf's said to be blessed by the moon goddess herself (Josh and Isabelle) with one of the twins also being a female Alpha. All the Luna's and Alpha's children were loved amongst the pack Hanna being as kind and graceful as her mother and gentle in nature, Josh known affectionately as the little trouble maker with his mischievous nature was always pulling pranks on pack members and was bursting with joyfulness and Isabelle was known as the little warrior.

Aged only Seven Isabelle would spend her days training just as long and hard as any warrior within the pack she had the raw power of an adult Beta already and her father and pack had high hopes for her potential much to the annoyance of her mother who tried in vain to sculpt her into the image of a perfect Luna.

No matter how many beautiful dresses she made or bought for her little warrior, or how long she spent in the mornings grooming her hair by nightfall  Isabelle would always return home with her once beautifully braided and tamed hair now loose and wild full of leaves and twigs, where she left in a fine beautiful dress she fit for a future Luna she always returned with either the dress unrecognizable covered in mud and grass stains or forgoing a dress altogether in favour of the warrior's garb of a shirt and leggings. No matter how Isabelle exhausted her mother loved her dearly and secretly had to admit it was a relief her daughter knew how to defend herself, after all a she-wolf as beautiful as Isabelle would in-future attract the interest of many wolf's not all honourable Sarah sadly knew this through her past experiences.

When Sarah was a young she-wolf the Beta of her pack fell deeply in love with her obsessed by her rare beauty he was driven to madness by his lust for her. 

Again and again, he pleaded with his Alpha and Luna (Sarah's parents) of the Golden fang pack to give their blessing for them to mate once Sarah turned 18. Both the Alpha and Luna time after time informed the Beta that once Sarah was 18 the age where her wolf awakens if he was their daughter's fated mate and she accepted him they would not stand in the way of their happiness.

for three years the Beta waited for Sarah to reach the age of maturity each day lusting after her trying desperately to seduce her when Sarah finally turned 18 and did not recognise him as her fated mate the Beta was driven into a lust-filled rage and stalked Sarah alone into the forest and tried to rape Sarah forcing his claim onto her. 

It was sheer luck although Sarah called it destiny that David the future Alpha of the Twilight Moon pack was passing through the forest on his way to make a treaty with Sarah's parents when he attacked and killed ( or so they thought ) the Beta saving Sarah and discovering he was her fated mate, the two soon mated and married merging both packs and renaming the pack the Golden moon pack. Although Sarah and David had a loving marriage and happy life Sarah was still traumatised from the events of that day even to this day.

At least she takes comfort in knowing the Beta was dead and he or his lineage could never harm her nor her family again... or so she thought.
