The vampire’s words linger inside my ears for a moment, and I find myself unsure whether I heard them right or not. When he keeps staring at me in expectation, I realize I wasn’t imagining things. However, if he thinks I’m that stupid, he is mistaken. I find Teivel’s orders highly suspicious.   I glance down at the tray in front of me, weighing my options for a long moment.
