'I think I'm going crazy.'
What happened at the lagoon keeps replaying in my mind like a boomerang. My body and mind are still stuck with that scenario. I immediately drank the beer I was holding.
"Are you not going to tell me where you two were earlier?"
I just glanced at Russell. "Ryker brought me to a lagoon," Claire said.
"Lagoon? Is there a lagoon here?" Russell said, shocked.
"I thought you'd moved on? Why did you come back to that place?" Daniel asked.
Russell turned towards her husband. "And you know there is a lagoon here?" She glanced at Claire. "That is unfair! How come I didn't know?"
"I told you I've moved on," I said, and then I drank beer again.
"But what are you doing there?" Daniel asked.
