‘Damn.’
I took a deep breath after I closed the door to Claire’s room. I can’t calm down yet. After she reached the limit, she lost consciousness sooner. I was scared because his head almost hit the sink. Luckily, I was able to support her. He doesn’t seem to remember anything that happened. Maybe he thought she was dreaming when it was all real. But that’s fine because I don’t want her to think that I took advantage of her weakness a second time.
“I’m also a man and know what you did to Claire.”
I looked at Heiji, standing a meter from where I was. I was facing him.
“I do not know what you are saying.”
“Don’t let her marry you if you don’t want to,” Heiji said. “I’ve known Claire since we were kids, so I won’t let you treat her like this.”
