Chapter 4Lucien slipped the sunglasses over his nose as the plane landed. He was normally not recognized too much on the street. Even as their song for the movie got more and more airplay, the sightings of him still remained about the same. Since his main house was in New York, not LA where everyone expected to see celebrities, he’d managed to maintain a pretty low profile. He was the guitarist, too, not the singer, and that was who most people wanted to see. He could be a shadow, even in NYC, because he was just not that important in the grand scheme of things. An airport, though, that was different. People expected to see any kind of person in an airport. It was the truly equal place, where time and place disappeared. People were people—and any one of them could be a celebrity. His sung
