Chapter 1 Wrath’s Sin SHE was sure she’s already awake, but she couldn’t do anything with the blindfold that is prohibiting her eyes to see where she might be. There is a strong scent of ivory candles and the she feels extra chills all over her body as she noticed that she’s naked… When she tried to move around, that is when she’d realized that she’s also restrained by cuffs that are probably connected by the rails of the bed wherever she’s resting now. Her body twitched the moment she heard footsteps heading towards her. “S-Sino po kayo?” her trembling voice resounded in the entire room. But that person didn’t respond. She felt cold hands caressing her cheeks, she instantly trembled with that. And that hand travelled down her neck up to her chest which scared the hell out of her. “Huwag po!” pag-mamakaawa nito ngunit wala na siyang nagawa nang umabot ang kamay nito sa maselang parte ng katawan niya’t siya’y niromansa sa kanyang p********e. She started sobbing and her tears rolled down to her cheeks but her cry was interrupted with that harsh kiss that cut through her breathing. “Hmmmm…” she started panting when she’s almost running out of breath but the kissed is still going on. But the rough chin that’s rubbing agains her, she hunched that this is a man. With his huge and tough palm and there is a huge presences she’s feeling above her, she’s getting more terrified. “Hmmmm…” the man finally sighed which lead her to wonder whose voice it was. “Wrath!” bulalas nito nang mapagtanto niya ang boses na iyon. She heard him smirked when he suddenly stopped everything what he is doing. “Hello, Victoria…your lips tastes good just like what I have always been imagining…” he said. “W-Wrath? Why are you doing this? Please…let me go,” she begged but she just hear dhim chuckled and went a way for a moment. “I will…but of course, you deserve a parting gift…” he said from a distance. Muling narinig niya ang mga yabag ni Wrath palapit sa kanya. “Wrath please…” naiiyak nitong pagmamakaawa. “Ahh!” napahiyaw siya bigla nang makaramdam siya ng paghampas ng isang bagay sa kanyang mga hita. “How do you like being hit by this flogger? Does it hurt?” “Stop!” she begged. Naramdaman niya ang pag-ibabaw ni Wrath sa kanya at muli siyang hinalikan nang napakalalim habang siya’y naghihingalo. Patuloy ang pag-agos ng kanyang luha habang siya’y nalulunod sa takot sa kung ano mang susunod na gagawin ni Wrath *** One Year Ago… Wrath is supposed to take another route heading towards the cafeteria when he saw the doctors who are walking in the opposite direction where he stopped but they saw him and smiled at him. “Mr. Dela Viego!” tuwang-tuwa silang nilapitan siya. It’s not just him who finds it strange that the Doctors in this hospital where he’s currently taking his residency are just so nice to him while to his colleague they have always been eerie. Unang araw palang ay nasermonan na sila bukod lamang sa kanya. Well, Wrath’s good in his work and he always follows rules, make reasonable diagnosis and solution which pleased his seniors as well but their treatment is clearly bias as he bears that name ‘Dela Viego’. Wrath was fourteen years old when he was first brought into the Dela Viego’s Mansion. His mother was failed pharmacists and she’s selling medicines. He lived with his Mom for all the years without a father and he instantly accepted it. But one day, they were brought into the mansion which changed their lives. Hindi na sila namroblema ng bills at ang araw-araw na pangkabuhayan nila. They became rich because it turned out that his father who left his mother when she was pregnant is a rich man. But an elite life had a price…Wrath had live up to his father’s name and pursued whatever he’s doing. He was urged to take up business but Wrath had already thought of becoming a doctor someday and when his father knew that, he supported him. Wrath had step brothers from different woman. There is Pain—the oldest and from his legal wife. There is Rage—the youngest one and the favorite son. Wrath never thought of his status of his Father’s love because he just live the life he’s been told to. “Mukhang tapos na ang shift mo,” aniya ni Dr. Ramon. “Opo, pauwi na nga po ako ngayon,”sagot naman ni Wrath. After a few more conversed with them, Wrath finally was able to get away from them. He is tired and wants to rest but whenever he thinks that he’d go home into his house alone is a bit lonely… When he started studying college he spent his days alone in house and would only go home by weekends. Hindi rin kasi nagkatuluyan ang kanyang Mommy at ng kanyang Daddy. Kamakailan nagpakasal ito sa mas batang dalaga at iyon ang ina ni Rage. And he thinks that he doesn’t want to go home there while his mother is wasted somewhere because she truly loved his father. “Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….” “While walking along the park of this hospital, he was disturbed by a humming voice of a girl. He stopped and closes his eyes as this is his favorite song—it’s Moon River by Audrey Hepburn He followed the melody until it led him to a bench near a tree where she saw a woman wearing a hospital patient suit. He sat by the vacant bench next to her and waited until she’s done humming. “Oh!” Balak namang umalis din kaagad ni Wrath bago magmulat ng mata ang babae ngunit nagtama ang kanilang mga paningin bago pa man niya magawa ito. “S-Sorry! I didn’t meant to—” nataranta naman bigla si Wrath. “It’s okay,” umiling-iling naman ang babae at umusog pa ito para makalapit sa kabilang bench. “Doctor ka ba rito?” “Ah, resident doctor palang…” tugon naman nito. Now that the girl is closer to him, he could see how beautiful she is. She’s got a silky hair down to her waist and pale skin, probably because she’s sick. She’s thinner than the usual size of a woman, probably because she’s stressed and frustratingly losing wait. That’s his diagnosis. “Why are you here?” he asked. “It’s because of this…” turo nito sa kanyang puso. “I have a weak heart…” “But you weren’t born from it, right?” sunod na tanong naman ni Wrath. “Hindi naman. Siguro ang talino mo?” napaliyad si Wrath at nagulat nang bigla siyang lapitan ng babae at titigan nang mas malapitan. The woman is just an inch away from him. “Tapos ang pogi mo pa! Wala ka namang girlfriend?” “Wala…” agad na napailing si Wrath… “Bakit naman?” napakunot-noo ang babae nang ito ay lumayo. “Because I don’t want to fall in love….” Napakurap-kurap si Wrath. “Love is happiness, you know…you have to fall in love even if it is scary…” ***
