Three days had passed since Eric lashed out at me in front of Aaron and I had spent them in my own personal bedroom, refusing to come out. I couldn’t bear to see either of them after feeling like a mere pawn in their games. Eric had always tried to control what I wore and, like an obedient wife, I started complying with his rules after he made sure I never forgot them. But, I had the right to do what I wanted when he was not at home since it was still my house too and it was not like I was strutting around nak*d.
