Mia’s POV
A sudden echo of unsettling silence resounded through the living room after Eric’s blatant question. A lump formed in my throat as I turned around to look at Aaron, who in turn looked at me with uncertainty. The answer was clear but there were so many underlying secrets that were interconnected with it. Aaron and I knew that the park was attacked by wolves, but only Aaron knew that he had turned into a half-werewolf to attack the other wolves who attacked the park and that there were no witnesses to his transformation. However, he didn’t know that I had seen him in his true form, a werewolf, and watched him kill one of the wolves. But, most importantly, we both didn’t know the extent of Eric’s knowledge and what he was referring to.
Damn, this is such a messy situation!
