Lorenzo’s POV
“Follow him.” I tell Angelo.
“You really think he’ll go to her? Why would he?” Angelo asks.
“I just have a feeling. Just observe. Do not engage. Not with him around. We need to get her away from him.”
“You worried because he’s an Alpha?” Angelo asks.
“Yes. He doesn’t seem to know the truth about her or me. I want to keep it that way.”
Rose’s POV
I get home from work and collapse on my couch. Mr. Business rubs up on my leg.
“Hey there. How was your day? Because mine wasn’t great.” I lay there thinking about my fight with Jace and about what Flora said to me. I hear a knock at the door. I wonder who it is. I look through the window and see Dean. Of all people. He’s wearing a hood and looking around. I open the door slightly, but he barges right in and closes the door
