Rose’s POV
After breakfast, I wait around for Nick to come back. More men start to show up and then finally Nick walks through the door.
“Rose can I have a minute.” He says gesturing his head towards the hallway. I nod and get up from my seat, following Nick down the hall. He leads me to his office and closes the door. Where has he been?
“Have a seat.” He says. I sit down on the gaudy red leather chair across from his desk, and he leans against the edge of the desk crossing his arms in front. He lets out a sigh.
“I went and spoke with Dean.” He finally says.
“Why?” I ask surprised.
“I wanted to know what happened between him and Lorenzo. To find out exactly what Lorenzo said to him.”
“And?” I ask.
“He told me that Lorenzo claimed you stole something and killed one of his men.”
