"Elodie. . . Elodie. . ." My vision was dark and blurry but everytime that warm voice kept calling to me, a golden light shines from a distance, and like a small little moth, I could not help myself but be attracted to that translucent light. I was drawn to it. "Mother?" I mumbled to myself. My whole body felt like I was submerged underwater, and the light from above the surface was where the voice was coming from yet I could not swim up. "Elodie. . . Open your eyes. . ." The voice kept calling to me and I tried my best to come towards the source. "Mother, wait. . . Don't go," I answered back, hoping to hear more of her soothing voice. I managed to move upward, pushing my way to the surface and with each second passing of swimming, I began to squint my eyes from the blinding light
