I scramble to get up, wincing at the pain that shoots through my shoulder, but I ignore it as the sounds of growling and thrashing of a fight ensue right before me. I stare in disbelief as the two wolves fight each other viciously. I could tell the one that slammed into the rogue had the upper hand. I wasn’t sure if this newcomer was a rogue as well, but I could tell they were a lot younger. It was too dark to see the color of their coats but the newcomer was definitely bigger and also their scent was oddly familiar to me.
