Days passed by...until they eventually turned into weeks... He never showed up again...Not even once... Of course he wouldn't. Not after that "interesting" discovery... Maybe it was for the best...since he was nothing but a despicable creature who could only bring pain, like mother always says about fallens. But still... I quietly sighed, shoving the huge leathered book back inside its place, turning around as I was about to leave, only to suddenly stop once I’ve noticed my brother standing just a few steps away, curiously eyeing me. "What are you doing?" He casually asked, keeping a calm, generally bored expression. "Nothing, just..." I absently answered, taking a glance at the huge shelf entirely filled with old books, earning a small nod from him. "I'm going in town to purchase some things I need...Do you want to come with me?" He suddenly asked, that singular question leaving me utterly confused as I definitely  knew that I was banned from ever going there again. "Wh... W-what about m-" "Don't worry about it. I have already discussed about this with her," He quickly answered, obviously already knowing what I was about to ask, his entirely serious expression leaving no space for any doubts, my entire expression rendering completely blank for a few seconds before I eventually recovered, numbly answering, "Oh...Okay..." My mind slowly reeled back to all those happy memories, my unnaturally mixed soul longing to go back to our beloved childhood place and simply forget everything about this wretched world... If only... "Rem?" I called after him, ultimately noticing him now walking away, his body taking a sudden halt for a few seconds as he momentarily turned to look at me. "Yeah?" "I wish we could go back..." I quietly said, lowering my gaze somewhere on the neatly polished wooden floor, all those beautiful, familiar places from The Citadel now flashing before my eyes, deep sadness making its place inside my chest, his heavy, audible sigh instantly dragging me back to reality. "You know we can't." Of course we can't. And all because of this stupid curse.                                                                                               Raphael     The small sounds of the human's tired, almost defeated whimpers kept reaching my ears as I effortlessly held her trapped against my much larger body, those sweet waves of pure pain gradually diminishing, until they turned into a dull, barely present buzz. Fucking puny creatures... I loudly exhaled, dumping her drained, motionless body on the stone pavement, still feeling so damn unsatisfied... Fuck...Almost a dozen bodies and still nothing... What the hell do I have to do to actually get something better around here? I leaned against the same brick wall I was trapping the small human just moments ago, boredly watching the few people hurriedly passing by on the parallel sidewalks from time to time. Maybe a stronger subject will do...Or not. Oh, f**k this... I mentally groaned, closing my eyes for a brief moment, feeling so goddamn annoyed. Why the hell did I even choose to hide in this stupid little town? If only those idiots would just stop searching for me and try- All my thoughts suddenly died out, the moment I finally opened my eyes, casually noticing her getting out of a sleek black car, her tiny hands tightly holding that extra large hoodie covering her slender body, trying to cover herself as much as she could. My brows creased into a deep frown, watching her keep as much distance as she could -from the humans, of course- clutching onto the demigod's arm as they hurriedly entered the library across the street. Well hello there...little hybrid. I think it's time to find out if you actually are what you say you are...                                                                                                           Daya Pushing my thick-rimmed shades up my nose, I carefully peered around the area, making sure there would be no accidental encounters with any of the humans currently roaming the same huge, public space as we did. Taking a glance at my brother -who by the way was too busy rummaging through a bookshelf to actually notice the admiration looks he was receiving from the few females around the area- I then quietly walked down the narrow corridor, taking my time to analyze every title, searching new books for my impressive romance collection... The human world can be really dull, and boring -when you're a lethal-by-definition half goddess and half fallen- but at least they do write amazing books. I lightly smiled, looking at the title that currently caught my attention, gently picking the small novel from the heavily stuffed bookshelf, staring at the beautifully designed cover, my fingers lightly skimming over the thick written letters. Plastic Love Opening it, I read the single line written on the first page. "I've always loved the way your skin feels like...so soft...and warm..." The soft, gentle sensation of fingers grabbing my shoulders instantly snapped me back to reality, quickly turning around only to meet those obsidian gems, once again staring right back into mine. "Hello, Red." My mouth hung open, not a single word coming out though as I stared up at him, too stunned to even react. "Did you miss me? I surely did..." He huskily said those last words, firmly gripping my upper arm, his gaze flickering to my lips as he took one step even closer, practically closing the tiny space between us.  Our chests constantly pressed against each other as my breathing became heavier with every single second passing, obviously affected by his sudden, imposing presence. "I...mmh..." A small whimper escaped my lips, the moment I felt his other hand shamelessly pulling the zipper of my hoodie down, revealing my grey tank top. Gripping the sides, he then proceeded and slid it down my shoulders, making me feel so vulnerable under his intense, heated stare. Quickly taking a few steps back, I finally created the space between us I so much needed, barely managing to calm down as I stared at him, wide-eyed. "W-what...are you..." I failed to even complete the sentence, my breathing still ragged as I watched him now approaching once again. "Now, now, don't be so shy, Red. Promise I won't bite...too much," He lastly added those two words, devilishly smirking, making me feel even more alarmed as he once again reached me, his strong hands firmly gripping my hips, pressing his entire body against mine. I silently gasped, watching him slowly lowering his face right towards mine, those plump pink, slightly moistened lips only inches from mine, right before his gaze quickly flickered somewhere behind me. And before I even had the time to realize what was happening his heavy palms pushed at my chest, suddenly finding myself trapped in between another pair of arms. "Oh miss, I'm so sorry, I..." The masculine voice speaking right behind my ear abruptly stopped, hearing his breath hitch in his throat, the unknown male's grip around my torso suddenly tightening. Oh no... My already tear-filled eyes remained fixated on the angelic-looking, cold-hearted monster in front of me, the single word I so wished to spit out remaining trapped in my throat. Traitor...
