I woke up, sleeping in Jonah’s arms. We were both sitting halfway up, sleeping against the cave wall. Jonah was still asleep, as I slowly woke up. I tilted my head back, seeing his head hanging a little to the side. I smiled at the side of it. I didn’t know why, but it made me sort of happy to see him like this. He just looked so peaceful, and almost sweet, which was unlike him. He often found a way to get on my nerves, but like this he was all quiet and just sleeping peacefully. I leaned against him again, just enjoying the quiet morning and the heat from his body, that made sure I stayed warm through the night. A smile was on my lips, as I turned my eyes to the cave and saw the sun shining through the trees further away and cast a little of its rays onto the lake’s surface. It w
