Chapter 6 Joshua was a pretty fantastic human being. We’d been dating for more than two months, and every day I was privileged to see more of his kindhearted and generous nature. He was the type of selfless and giving person—with a healthy dose of genuine humility—that didn’t often exist in this world. I was so proud to know him, and I wanted everyone to know just how amazing he was. Joshua, however, wasn’t one to acknowledge what he did, let alone take credit for it. But tonight? Tonight was his time to stand in the spotlight. And I couldn’t be happier about it. I walked out of the bedroom, still straightening my tie. I heard a fast intake of breath, and looked up with a grin. I knew I looked good—tuxedos always made a man look better than normal—but seeing the lust on Joshua’s face was
