Prologue

Nate's P.O.V

'The history will repeat once again,

Which will surely free the one from pain,

Who had suffered for long,

And the one who was cursed for wrong.

A pure soul will be born,

But it will also cause a few to walk on thorns,

Cause the past will be erased,

And for that, a huge cost would be paid.

Fate will have to change,

Only to prove love once again.'

I kept repeating the words, maybe a million times by now, since the very moment when I got to know about the last part of the prophecy, more than a year ago. Each and every word of the verse was like engraved into my mind over this long time.

But for what?

Nothing could bring my mate and my pup back to me yet. The only thing I kept hoping all this while that they must stay safe, when I am still looking for them. If I am not wrong, my pup might have already born and it must be a year old by now. And I am craving to run to hold them right into my arms, but only if I knew where they have gone.

All the powers that I now possess seem completely futile, and I have proven to be nothing else but a real failure.

Cause I could not even save my Emm and my pup for whom I longed for a really long time. And at last, when the happiest moment finally came to stand just before me without much of my awareness, it was snatched away from me ever so brutally, leaving me no other way except emerging into one ruthless alpha of all.

• The story starts with a prophecy being chanted while a child being taken away in a stormy night only to be delivered to a safe place as the child needed to be hidden and alive.

• After almost a decade later the story begins again when the daughter of the Eclipse warriors pack, Emerald also known as Emm is about to experience her first shift and to find his mate. But as soon as she turns eighteen she also learns about the truth which her parents always kept secret from her that she is adopted. Not only that, but she also finds that her brother Nathaniel also known as Nate, is her mate. Here took place some complex emotional anxiety as both the brother and sister are caught between the innocent attachment of siblings and the s****l tension of being mates.

• Even though they learn to accept each other, their pack started to get frequent attacks especially Emm. In this process, Emm eventually realises that her strength is more than any other werewolves and she has some other powers as well.

• On the other hand, when both Emm and Nate complete there marking and the mating process they started to get dreams of some prophecy and whereas Emm started to have nightmares and visions.

• To know the reason for those attacks along with the dreams about some prophecy, they seek help to their father.

• Their father Derek, aware of his own secret past, led them to the place where it all started two decades back because the prophecy was well known to him. Derek took them to an old lady who was the forgotten species (from werewolf bloodline but with no wolf, instead they are gifted with the power of visions). Eventually, they get to know that Derek was no other than the lost Royal King of Lycans. Which makes his son the next King of all.

But what else was in the past that changed all their lives completely afterward?

What mystery did they need to solve, before time?

What happened later after they discovered the past? Were they able to change their destiny?
