Episode 6

Ange's P.O.V

"I am so sorry. Are you alright? You should not have scared me by approaching me from behind." I said with a lot of worries, seeing that he was in pain and that too for my stupidity. I lifted up my arm to touch his chin subconsciously to caress him a bit, just as I usually do when Eva gets hurt. But how did I forget that he is not my little girl Eva, but a fully grown-up man, Trevor?

Wait a minute!!!!

What was that now?

Was he pretending to be in pain?

Cause, someone like alpha Trevor, who is indeed a big, strong and a solid guy, not supposed to get hurt by such a trivial collision.

I must say that his acting skills are very good that I was almost convinced that he got hurt for me.

Well done, Trevor. But I will get back to you, for teasing me like this once again.

"Are you done pretending? You are not that hurt, are you?" I asked. Crossing my arms on my chest, I stepped back a little bit to see how long he could go on with his pathetic play of being in pain, in front of me.

"Ahh! But it really hurts. See. Here." Even though he realised very clearly that I caught him red-handed already and he had no other way to act otherwise, he chose to go on with his drama, hoping that I will cooperate with his childlike behaviour.

Sometimes I wonder, is he really a guy of twenty-seven years?

And now I even wonder, is he really a father of a five years old boy, who appears to be more mature than this big bad alpha Trevor.

Yes, I really do doubt about that.

"Okay. Okay. You are fine now. Let us begin with our training. I think everyone is already here and waiting for you to start." For now, I tried to leave the matter aside and to drag our focus on something other than this, or else we will end up in an uneasy circumstances once again.

It did not take much time, to begin with our early morning training and my very first participation in a workout session along with the other members of the pack. Trevor's pack.

And as far as I observed till now, this Blue Moon pack was indeed a pack of strong fighters as they were all fit and was mastered in their fighting skills. Even the girls of this pack were not left behind when it comes to fighting for the sake of attacking enemies or protecting their people.

I must say that Trevor was really doing a great job with his pack as the alpha of the Blue Moon pack.

While training, the whole ground was occupied by various groups who were engaged with a different kind of training at the same time, only to change into another group for the next training when they were done with the previous one.

And here I was.

Stuck with the alpha for the sake of training, as I was new and was still getting familiar with the rules and the new ways to get myself trained according to the pack's regular norms.

But little did they know that I was beyond all these training skills, as I have my own ways to do things or fight or even kill if needed. So, for now, I decided to go slow and by their rules, cause I did not want to reveal my powers yet without any reason at all.

I was still moving my arms and legs in a synchronised way to prevent Trevor from defeating me in our little combat session while my mind was busy thinking about all those unnecessary aspects right now which was only making me distracted at such a crucial moment.

Yet, my subconscious was strong enough not to let me fall down on the ground at any cost, no matter what. And it seemed that I was indeed becoming a tough one to deal with for alpha Trevor, even when I was putting not much effort.

"You are a good fighter, do you know that?" Trevor's voice came to my ears all of a sudden, pulling me out of my trance and in the next moment I was off my feet and was lying down on the ground ever so strangely.

"But you are easily distracted. As I can see now." Trevor said again as he towered over my body with a smirk on his face, which was enough for me to go into my 'ready to attack' phase once again.

I jumped up from the ground within the flash of a second only to stand on both of my feet without giving him any time to realise what was intending to do.

"Let's begin again." I announced in an instant and positioned myself, determining about the fact that I must win this time, showing him how wrong his opinion was about me, in the meantime.

"Are you sure, Ange?" Trevor asked with a lot of concern in those two beautiful eyes of his. He might have noticed the sudden change in my expression as I was really desperate to show them all that no one... I repeat, no one can defeat me ever, no matter what.

"Absolutely." I replied back in an instant without bothering to blink my eyes even for once as I had already fixed my gaze on the one who made me fall on the ground just a while ago. I knew that he was not my enemy at all, in fact, he was the only one right now who was by my side in good and bad, but still, I wanted to let him know that I am not as weak as he was thinking of me right now.

"Okay, then I will go easy on you, this time." Trevor uttered and stepped back to stand at his position.

"Do not bother. Show me the best that you have got." I said right away, causing Trevor to get startled for the slightest second, after listening to my words and realising how much confident I was.

"Are you sure?" He enquired once again.

"Yes." That was what I cared to answer when I already knew what I had to do.

Even though I wanted to win over Trevor so very much, I did not want to let him down before his men either. So, I took a quick glance all around the ground to see that each and every one was still busy with their training and were absolutely focused on their own tasks, which left them with no time to concentrate on what we were about to begin with.

So, it was a green light for me to accomplish whatever I was intending to do.

In an instant, I could clearly see how each of the muscles on Trevor's body moved ever so flexibly as he moved to come at me, but little did he knew that I was all ready now to take him down with just a real quick move.

I dodged him without any effort only to grab him by his arms and in no time I flipped his entire body only to fall on the ground on his back without giving him any time to realise what was happening with him right now.

I mean, I acted fast. As fast as light.

So, without any further delay, I hopped on the lying Trevor to sit on top him, caging him in-between my arms. I made sure to hold his hands with my powers so that he could not dare to make another move any time soon.

And as soon as Trevor realised finally that he was already taken down by me, even though he was himself an alpha whom no one could defeat that easily, a sudden shock was spread all over his mind as his eyes could not even hide his confused self right at this moment.

"Wow!!!! What was that? How did you....?" Trevor was indeed way beyond startled as his wide eyes asked me so many questions at this instant without even bothering to say much in words.

I smirked.

"Well, after all, I am a daughter of an alpha too. I am as difficult as you to defeat as well. See?" I uttered with all my pride and grinned widely, realising that I was finally able to show my worth.

At this moment, I did not realise that I was still sitting on top of Trevor, straddling him in between my legs in a very awkward position while out uneasy breaths had already started to mingle with each other without much of our consciousness.

I saw, how Trevor kept panting under me, announcing the fact that I gave him a tough time indeed.

But something in his eyes was different for sure, as if he was more than confused right now but yet to ask me anything, to clear out all his confusion, cause his uneasy breathing right at this moment was depriving him of doing so.

"What?" I asked right away, seeing him behaving in such a way, forgetting about the fact that I should not lean even more out of curiosity, while I was still sitting on top of him in some compromising position.

"Did...did you just say that, you are a daughter of an alpha? Did you already remember your past anyhow, Ange?" Trevor asked, causing me to think hard about what I just said a while ago, without thinking much.

But the real question was that why did I say such words, even when I still do not know about my origin.

And I knew very well that no one would tell such things without any reason subconsciously, if not they are quite used to the words.

I wonder if I was really used to say such words before?

Then again, am I really a daughter of an alpha, just as my subconscious mind revealed out of the blue and forced the words out of my mouth due to my habits from my past life?

I did not know what is truth and what is not at this moment as I still do not know the actual reason for saying such words for the first time since the day I had forgotten everything about my past.

"Did I really say that?" I said hesitantly and tried to get up to avoid such a conversation about which I was not sure myself either.

But Trevor did not let me, as he grabbed me and pulled my down by my arms, making me fall on him once again, but this time even closer than before, leaving no gap between our bodies, as I found his face inches away from mine.

My breathing increased all of a sudden while my heart started to beat louder than before, and these stupid feelings in my stomach were making my cheeks turn red out of embarrassment right now. But Trevor cared the least, even when he was feeling no different and I could tell that for sure but little did he know that I was already aware of his state right at this moment.

"Yes, you did. Tell me, Ange. What did you recall?" Trevor pulled me even closer, keeping his stern eyes which were still fixed on mine. His warm breaths kept fanning on my skin as those alluring masculine lips of his were almost brushing against mine, making me shiver with some unknown feelings, internally.

"I recalled nothing. I think I just said that out of my habit subconsciously. Maybe I was quite used to saying such words quite often in my past. But I really do not know why I said that all of a sudden. I really do not remember anything, yet. Believe me, Trevor." I said all these in one breath only to escape from this awkward situation as fast as I could. Cause if we stayed like this any more second, I do not know what I would end up doing when the heat inside me had already started to build-up without much of my permission.

"I believe you." He said, softening his gaze on me but he did make sure not to let me go that easily, as I saw how his eyes flickered into a darker shade in an instant just when he shifted his gaze down to my lips.

I unconsciously licked my lips due to the awkwardness but little did I know that it would make Trevor even more reluctant to let me go as he tightened his grip on me while both of our hearts had already started to race faster than ever.

"Let...let me go, Trevor." I almost pleaded cause I was becoming weak with each passing second even though I could clearly feel that Moon was strongly opposing such of my behaviour back in my mind, which was definitely stopping me from doing anything with Trevor even when it was hard to hold myself back, at least when we were already lying on the ground, entangled with each other like this.

"No." He answered, which was more than enough reason for me to tense up.

My heart started to beat even faster just when Trevor lifted up one of his hand and touched my already heated cheeks with his palm softly, making me even more embarrassed.

He kept tracing the features of my face with the tip of his thumb only to trail down his finger to my lips which were already quivering ever so slightly with the little touch of this alpha who was leaving no ways unattempted to tempt me with his charms right at this moment.

I felt how he was pulling me down ever so slowly bit by bit with each passing second only to let his lips brush against mine for a little bit but enough for giving me a sudden unforgettable shiver, just when we heard the innocent voice of Noah coming on our way.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Noah ran to our side within a few seconds, sparing us some time to get up on our feet in an instant to escape such an awkward situation.

And only after coming to our right mind, we finally realised what actually we were going to do if not Noah had arrived in time, to save us from such an embarrassment.

But I wondered if Noah really helped or not as someone indeed seemed not so happy after getting interrupted by his own son.

"What is it, Noah?" I asked, keeping aside all the awkwardness for now as Trevor needed some time to adjust himself with the reality.

"I helped Eva to sleep. She is taking a nap now. So, Noah was feeling lonely." That little boy said with a sad tone, keeping his head down as all he wanted to do was to play, which was not at all wrong at his age. He was young indeed.

"Okay. I promise that Mommy will play with you. But Mommy has to go to work too, for now. Then what about we play together when I come back in the evening?" I asked, attempting to cheer him up as I wanted to see the joy in those big and always excited eyes of our little Noah.

"No. Not this evening. I need you to accompany me to somewhere important." Just when I was about to make a deal with Noah, Trevor interfered in between only to take me by surprise, as I became really curious to know why exactly someone like Trevor needed me only, to go with him when being an alpha of a pack he had numerous of people to accompany him without having to question a single word.
