Rhea stood in the doorway of her daughter's bedroom, watching as they bounced around in their pajamas, their eyes wide with excitement. "Come on, Mommy, please let us sleep in your bed tonight," begged Alison, her curls bouncing with each word.
"Yeah, Mommy, please! We promise we'll be good," added Ariana, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Rhea sighed, knowing she had a long day ahead of her tomorrow, but she couldn't resist their pleading faces. "Girls, you know the rules. You have your own beds for a reason," she said, trying to sound firm.
"But Daddy is on a trip, and we miss him. Please, Mommy, we'll be so lonely without him," Ariana pouted, her lower lip trembling.
