Elijah made his way to the entrance of the house, and immediately the maid told him Rhea was here. He stood there, watching Rhea walk to the house. Immediately after she got to the entrance, she passed Elijah like she did not see him. She wanted to avoid questions that she would not be able to answer, as she still feels tense from the whole walk back home. Celia, seeing what Rhea did, turned immediately to go to her room, as she did not know if she was going to be able to tell a lie, and she did not want to risk spilling out the truth, as she was still in shock from Rhea’s hasty decision and desperation.
