Rhea sixth sense woke her up, feeling a pair of eyes watching her. She turned on the lamp on the bedside table and took a quick glance around the room but saw no one. Her mind quickly thought of her boys, and she quickly rushed to check up on them without bothering to put on a robe.
As soon as she got to their room, she saw them sound asleep, sleeping peacefully, but the wolf perceived a familiar scent, which she brushed off, thinking it was her imagination.
She walked over to Xavier to cover him up properly, and he stirred and opened up his eyes.
"Stay with me, mommy," he said sleepily.
She smiled and settled beside him, covering both of them with the duvet, and they both slept off within minutes.
