Emma's Point of View Tara, the moon goddess whoever she was just disappeared leaving me trapped in my hell. I looked at the spot she disappeared from and then back at the door. "Ya, that is not happening," I said and walked over to the bed and laid down on it.  "why do I need to walk through that door?" I said as I rolled over and looked at the door and I felt my eyes grow heavy again. Maybe I will wake up at home.  I opened my eyes and looked around and I was in the hospital. I could hear the sounds of beeping and people talking outside but what got my attention was the man standing by my bed. He seemed familiar to me.  He had long white hair, emerald green eyes, his ears pointed out of his hair and he wore jeans and a t-shirt.  "Hello, Emma." He said.  "Hi. Who are you?" I said back.  "You will know soon enough but you must remember." And he walked over to me and he began to glow. I tried to move away but could not move any further the guard rail on the bed was stopping me. He put his glowing hand on my head. "You must go through the door. I'll be waiting my sweet princess."  I jolted awake and looked around. I was back in the room from my dreams but there was no screaming. There was no sound at all. I got up and walked over to the window. No one was running from the monsters and none of the houses were on fire. I tried to open the window but it would not budge.  "LET ME OUT!" I screamed up towards the ceiling but the only answer I got was someone knocking on the door. I ran over to the bed and hid under it. The knocking got harder and louder. I was shaking in fear. What if it's the monsters waiting for me? Will they rip me in half and drink my blood? I tried to remain silent but the knocking did not stop. I put my hand over my ears and I felt a tear slip down my face.  As day turned to night the knocking never stopped. I remained under the bed with my hands over my ears. "STOP, PLEASE STOP!" I screamed. "I just want to go home." And the tears came again. Soon my eyes grew heavy and I could no longer keep them open.  I was in a garden and there stood a woman in a white long flowing dress looking at a river that ran through the garden. I walked over to her. "Hello," I said. She turned around and looked at me. "Tara?"  She smiled at me. "No honey my name is not Tara but it is Elatha. Many however call me the moon goddess."  "Ok Elatha. Why am I here?"  "Emma I brought you here because we needed to talk. Please sit." She said as she waved her hand and two chairs appeared. I walked over to one and sat down.  "So what do we need to talk about?"  "Emma you are special and one of the few of your kind left."  "Kind what do you mean?"  She smiled at me and then looked at the water. "Humans are not the only creatures to live in the human realm. There are wolves." She pointed towards the water and there in the water was a picture of a young girl shifting. She was screaming in pain but those around her were talking to her and she went from looking human to a beautiful grey wolf.  "She turned into a wolf." I could not look away. The young wolf ran into the forest and those around her quickly shifted into wolves and ran after her.  "Yes. That was Olive and you just watched her first shift but there are many other races."  "What do you mean?" I said as I stopped looking at the water and turned my attention to Elatha.  "You have wolves, Lycans, bears, witches, warlocks, sirens, mermaids, elves, fairies and so much more. Many races are on the brink of extinction but those that are left  are cherished." She said as she looked at the water again.  "What did you mean by I am special? Am I not human?"  She grabbed my hand and I looked into her purple eyes. "Emma you are not human but I can not tell you what you are. You must open the door and discover who you are but I will tell you this I will be there to help you once you learn the truth."  "But I am afraid."  "I know the truth can be scary but several people are waiting for you. I will show you one person who needs you to remember his future depends on you." And she pointed back to the water. There floating in darkness was a man. He was so handsome and easy on the eyes.  "Who is he?"  "Your future. Now open the door, face your past, and when your ready we will talk." And all of a sudden everything around me disappeared and I heard the knocking again. I opened my eyes and looked at the door. "You win!" I shouted and got off the bed.  I walked towards the door and took a deep breath and grabbed the handle. I slowly turned the handle but stopped before opening the door. "Elatha you better not steer me wrong," I yelled towards the ceiling. I was not expecting anyone to respond but I heard a voice say "Just open the door, you stubborn girl." And I laughed.  I slowly opened and gasped. "You have got to be kidding me," I said. There was no one there, no hallway but there was a bright light. I slammed the door shut and walked away from it and the knocking started again. "Elatha I know you can hear me get your moon goddess butt down here now."  A bright light flashed and there she stood. "You called?"  "Ya, I did. Explain that." I said as I opened the door and the light coming from the other side lit up the room.  "You need to walk into the light."  "Ya only when your dead you walk into the light. I am not ready to die."  She laughed. "Your not dead Emma. That light is a representation of your life. Your memories are in the light Emma. Walk through the door. My patients are running thin." And she disappeared.  I looked at the light and sighed. "She better be right." And I stepped into the light.
