*Brielle's POV* There is nothing. No sound. Other than the clinking of silverware on fancy dishes that we only bring out when the whole family comes over, no one is saying anything. Call it an odd tradition, but we never talk business while we have our appetizers, soups, and salads. My dad always said that you need to start of a family meal with something to ease in the rest of the conversation. “You wouldn't start with the stake when you first sit down to eat, and so you wouldn't start with business when you begin a conversation at dinner. The conversation will gravitate toward the family business naturally. The beginning of the meal is for small talk and catch-up, and so shall it be for our table." Usually, I didn't have a hard time talking to my cousins or other family members. T
