Heather's Point Of View I prepared everything for Ethan and I's wedding anniversary. I baked his favorite cake which is black forest cake and a whole chicken. I also lit up two red long candles because my husband will be here in a few minutes. Ethan is a CEO of a company that his father left him and he is so hard working since that day. He always leaves work late because he needs to finish some papers but he promised to come home early tonight. It's been two hours already but he is not here yet. The candles are already melted halfway. I look at the clock and it was already late so I decided to call him. He might be in trouble or something. I need to know if he is okay. His phone rang for a long time I am starting to get worried already but he answered it so I felt relieved. “Where are you, Ethan?" I asked looking at the clock again. “It's already late." I don't know if I heard him grunt or something during our conversation but I just ignored it. Maybe I am just hallucinating because I am already starving. “Baby, I will be going home late. Sorry, there is something that I need to work on." He explained and hung up before I could even say anything. I look at what I prepared for our anniversary feeling a little bit sad because I wanted to be with him right now for our anniversary but it seems like he has something important to do. Today is our anniversary so if he can't come home for dinner then I should bring it to him. He must be starving from all the work he is doing and my job as a wife is not to let him be hungry so I decided to pack some of his dinners instead. We could eat together if I do that. [Baby, I would bring something to eat for you.] I was gonna text him but I decided not to send it so I could surprise him. Instead, I took some lunch boxes and pack the dinner that we are going to share. I cut the chicken and some cake to bring to him. I hope that he would love what I cooked for him. After preparing our dinner, I neatly placed the lunch boxes in a bag and went to my car. I drive to his office when I realized that I forgot something, I forgot to bring the bottle of champagne! “You are so forgetful, Heather," I said to myself. While driving, I search where can I buy a delicious wine at this time and saw a liquor store at the corner. I entered the store and buy the champagne that I know would taste good. This is not the brand that Ethan likes but this one will do because it would taste good too. “I would like to buy this champagne," I said to the cashier. She told me the price and I paid for it. The woman put it in a paper bag, wrapping it on the bottle. She thanked me and I thanked her too because this saves me. Ethan loves to drink alcoholic beverages whenever there is an occasion and tonight is our anniversary. I started to drive again to my husband so we could celebrate our anniversary while he is working. He won't mind if I go there with something for him to eat especially now that I bet he is all alone at his office doing a lot of work. He needs to eat so he could think clearly while working. While driving, I saw a club thag looks fun to be in. I suddenly remember how Ethan and I met. We met at the mall and he tried to pay for the dress that I was about to buy for Margot's birthday. He said that he would shower me with gifts if I become his girlfriend. I was so mad because he thought that he could buy me with his money. He was using his money so I could like him back however I am not that kind of woman so I decline his offer and didn't even accept the dress that he paid for me. I end up wearing the dress that Margot let me borrow for her birthday. We also met again on Margot's birthday and he defended me when someone was harassing me that night. Ethan introduced himself nicely. After that night, we are always together and started dating. A year after dating, we got married immediately. We both believe that the years of married life are the ones that should be longer not the years of dating. I arrived at the company and some lights are already closed. Looks like there are also some employees from different departments are working late tonight which I think sucks. Ethan is a strict boss also who always wants to finish the work immediately. “Good evening, ma'am." The guard greeted me and I smiled at him. “Good evening." I greeted back before walking inside the building. The whole place is quiet and I must admit that it looks a little bit creepy when it's nighttime. I am wondering how some employees work so late at night. They must be brave and hardworking because I swear I might get scared here or even fall asleep. I entered the elevator and pressed the floor where Ethan's office is. I look at the bag that I am carrying, smiling. He would be surprised to see me bringing some dinner for him. It was a long time ago since I went here to bring him something. I would only wait for him to come home. The elevator stopped at the floor that I pressed and went outside. Ethan's friend, Danny is here. He looks surprised when he saw me walking out of the elevator and approached me. He looks weird. “What are you doing here, Danny?" I asked when he reached for me. He is on the way as if he was stopping me to go to my husband so I stopped walking and look at him. Maybe he has something to tell me that is important so he is stopping. I should hear him out first. Ethan's friends are also my friend because we also hang out from time to time. “Is there something you want to ask me, Danny?" I asked politely. “Ughh. Yes, there is something I want to ask." He looks at the door of Ethan's office. Danny looks like he is restless as if something is bothering him. I waited for him to tell me what he is going to ask. Maybe his wife and he got into an argument and he is just going to ask for advice. “Katrina is just wondering if she could get the recipe for your famous pie and roasted chicken." He said smiling but it looks like a forced smile. I laugh at what he said and was a little bit relieved that they didn't fight. Both of them are my friends so I can't bear that they are fighting. “Of course!" I said to him smiling. “I will send her the recipe tomorrow. Excuse me, Danny but I need to bring this to my husband. He might be hungry already. I was about to walk again but Danny got in my way again. He is already sweating but it's not hot. “I also have something to ---" Danny stopped talking when we both heard a loud moan of a woman. “UGHH ETHAN YES! FVXK ME HARDER!" The woman screamed out and the voice sounds familiar. Danny gave me a look saying that I shouldn't walk into that office however I didn't listen. I walked through his office and opened the door, revealing Ethan fvxking Margot on his desk. She is bent over the desk while Ethan is doing her in the doggy style. “Both of you are disgusting!" I shouted and both of them looked shocked when they saw me at the door.
