Episode 4: New Neighbor

Dalawang araw na ang lumipas at babalik na ako bukas Kay Dr. Alarick para sa vaginal examination ko. Bago pa lang nakauwi ang teacher ko. I am so glad na last semester ko na ito at ga-graduate na rin ako dahil nakakapagod talaga mag-aral. As usual, ako na naman mag-isa dito sa bahay at kasalukuyan akong nanonood ng palabas sa TV habang kumakain ng ice cream. Hindi na gaano masakit ang tiyan at pelvic area ko dahil sa gamot na pinabili ni Dr. Alarick sa akin.

I kept thinking about him for the past two days and it's making me crazy. Nagka-crush din naman ako noon pero Hindi naman ganito kalala. Siguro dahil siya talaga ang type ko. Nag shave na ako sa pelvic area ko para bukas and my cheeks redden at the thought. Nakakahiya naman kapag Hindi ka nag shave. Sobrang kaba na talaga ang nararamdaman ko, Hindi ako mapakali.

I suddenly heard the doorbell ring kaya lumabas ako para tingnan kung sino ito. When I opened the gate, my eyes widened nang makita ko ang napakagwapong Dr. Alarick na may dalang Isang box. He smiled at me and I have to touch my chest to calm the beating of my heart. Bakit siya nandito? I remembered him saying that he is moving to this place, pero still, bakit siya nandito?

"Hi August," he said while smiling. His smile is so gorgeous. I gulped and embraced myself. He looks so casual Ngayon. Nakasoot siya ng black t-shirt which made me see the outline of his muscles. His blue jeans are fit and I can see his hot legs. Napalunok ako nang makita ang nasa gitna niya, kahit natatakpan ito ng jeans niya, makikita mo pa rin ang traced sa kanyang. Oh my God, stop it.

Napatingin ako ulit sa kanyang mukha and I saw him smirk which made me blush.

"H-hi Dr. Alarick. Why are you here?" tanong ko dahil sobrang curious ko talaga kung bakit siya nandito.

"May I come in?" he asked and I nodded my head and I let him in. Pumasok kami sa loob ng bahay. My heart is beating fast and my hands are sweating.

"I have cookies here. Since I am your new neighbor, I have to give you these." sabi niya at binigay ang Isang box na dala niya. I grabbed it and thanked him.

"Please have a sit." kinakabahan kong sabi sa kanya at umupo siya sa sofa.

"So how are you? Tomorrow will be your examination. Are you ready?" he asked and licked his lips. I nodded my head slowly.

"I guess so." Sabi ko sa kanya. He smiled.

"Do you still have pains in your stomach?" tanong niya and I shook my head. Minsan na lang ako nakaramdam ng sakit, Hindi na gaya noon. His medicine did work. "That's good to hear. You're always alone here?" tanong niya and examine our big house.

"Yes." Sabi ko sa kanya.

"Are you still going to school?" he asked. Parang interview na ata ito. Bakit siya tanong ng tanong tungkol sa buhay ko? Parte siguro ito sa examination niya sa akin. Right?

"I'm homeschooled but this is my last semester." Sabi ko sa kanya.

"Really? Bakit mo pinilit mag homeschool?" tanong niya. This is a very sensitive topic for me kaya Hindi ko ito masasagot sa kanya. My past is really dark and messy, I don't want to go back there. School is my biggest enemy, I don't want to step foot inside a school ever again. "I understand that you don't want to talk about it" Sabi niya. It looks like he can read my mind.

Nabalot kami ng katahimikan and I fidgeted in my seat because of how awkward our situation is. Ako lang siguro ang nakaramdam ng awkward dahil gusto ko siya.

I am an awkward person because I am not a social person. Wala akong mga kaibigan at Hindi rin ako nag pa-party or lumalabas ng bahay. I only go outside if it's necessary kaya Hindi ako marunong makipag halobelo sa iba.

His eyes wandered around my legs. I am wearing very short shorts. Ngayon dahil nasa bahay lang naman ako. I covered my legs with my hands and I pretended to caress it. His stare makes my body shiver.

"Shit." I heard him muttering.

"Okay ka lang Dr. Alarick?" tanong ko sa kanya. Napalingon siya sa akin and he nodded his head. Hindi ko alam kung bakit Ganun ang reaksyon niya. This whole thing is very uncomfortable. Being close to him makes him more intimidating and it made me wet in my pelvic area which is insane.

I thought about running my hands through his hair. Bakit kaya siya naging doktor e pwede naman siyang maging Modelo dahil sa kagwapuhan niya. I squirm in my seat.

"Magkatabi lang ang mga bahay natin." I heard him break the silence. This is worst than I imagined. That means siya iyong makabili sa bahay diyan sa tabi. When he said magkatabi, sobrang magkatabi lang talaga. You can see people there outside your window.

"You can visit me sometimes." sabi niya. Okay? This is getting weirder now. Did he just invite me over to his house? Oh my God. "You must have misunderstood me, I can see that you are not a very social person so maybe you can go out sometimes. I am a friend of your mother's so I can help my friend's daughter right?" he explained. I bit my lip and nodded my head. Maybe I can trust him since magkaibigan naman sila ni Mom noon so he's not an actual stranger.

"Okay," I said softly. He stood up.

"I have to go now, may pasyente pa ako Ngayon. Call me if you need something. Okay?" sabi niya and I nodded my head and thanked him at hinatid ko siya sa labas. He smiled at me at pumasok sa bagong bahay niya. I can see people na naghahatid ng mga gamit niya sa loob.

I think Dr. Alarick is a very sweet person. Akala ko suplado siya pero mabuti naman pala siyang tao. He is very caring and it made me want him more. He is the perfect guy that I am looking for. Sweet, handsome, and hot. Ang swerte ng babaeng makakatuluyan niya. Complete package na kasi siya.

I went back inside and sigh. His cologne is still lingering inside the house. Kinuha ko ang cookies na binigay niya and I went into my room at humiga sa kama. Binuksan ko ang box and the smell of the delicious cookies made my stomach growl. I ate the cookies. Siya ba ang gumawa nito? Bakit ang sarap? I smiled at naubos ko ang cookies na binigay niya. Kaya Hindi ako pumapayat kasi kain ako ng kain.

Narinig ko ang busina ng kotse sa labas at agad kong binuksan ang gate para salubungin sila Mom and Dad. Excited na akong makita ulit si Dad.

I saw them getting out of the car and I hugged my Dad tightly and he laughed at hinaplos ang likod ko. He kissed my cheeks.

"I missed you pumpkin," he said at may binigay sa akin. My face lit up.

"What's this Dad?" tanong ko.

"Buksan mo sa loob." masayang sabi niya at pumasok kami sa loob. Binuksan ko ang pasalubong ni Dad and I gasp nang makita ko ang Isang brand new na Xbox, mahilig akong naglaro nito. I squealed.

"Thank you Dad!" masayang sabi ko and he smiled at natawa si Mom. Pumunta ako sa taas sa kwarto ko and I played my new Xbox happily.

It's already night at tumutulong ako kay Mom na maghanda ng mga pagkain. Inilapag namin ito sa mesa and I smiled at the delicious food on the table. Nag prayer muna kami bago kami kumain.

"How's your study?" tanong ni Dad sa akin.

"Good, malaki grades ko last sem." sabi ko Kay Dad and he nodded.

"August, we have to tell you something," Sabi ni Mom at napalingon naman ako sa kanya and raised my eyebrows.

"Your father and I will not be here for two months dahil magpapatayo and Dad mo sa bagong business sa America." sabi ni Mama. Two months? Mag isa lang ako dito for two months? That's a really long time.

"Don't worry sweetheart. Your Mom has a friend next door and he will be checking up on you here. He's also happy to help." Sabi ni Dad. I gasp. Si Dr. Alarick ba ang taong iyon?

"Si Dr. Alarick?" tanong ko sa kanila and Mom nodded her head.

"He's a good man sweetie and also mas makabubuti kung lalaki dahil baka may mga magnanakaw na pupunta rito." sabi ni Mom. Oh my God, is this really happening?

"But Mom, he's a Doctor and I bet he's always busy." Sabi ko sa kanya. Totoo naman, busy parati ang mga doktor kaya imposibleng mangyari iyon.

"Actually, he volunteered. He said na you're a very shy person and he is happy to look up to you. And besides, sabi niya. His schedule is not busy this month." sabi ni Mom. Pag Doktor payag agad sila, hays.

"That is also good para ma monitor niya ang kalagayan mo. Your Mom said na posibleng may cyst ka sa ovary and that is very dangerous pumpkin so please makinig ka sa amin." sabi ni Dad. I sigh and nodded my head.

These coincidences are killing me. Fate is pulling me to him. Mapapahiya ko na naman ang sarili ko sa taong gusto ko. Tomorrow will be my vaginal examination.
