Hearing Donald speaks, tears were welling up in her eyes and Edie blinked them away. The doctors gathered around Donald, forcing Edie to step back. "Everyone steps back and give us some room," one of the doctors yelled. They immediately opened Donald's shirt to look at the puncture wound. "What can I do? Is he going to be okay?" she asked frantically. "Excuse me, but please don't interfere," the doctor said. The doctor tried to stop the bleeding by applying pressure to the wound. A stretcher was brought outside and they slowly moved Donald over on to it and took him into the hospital. As they walked past Edie, her voice breaks and tears begin to race down her cheeks.
