Chapter 10 Nick looked down at Cynthia's body for a very long time, like he wasn't sure what he was seeing. He was dressed for jogging with earbuds dangling around his neck much like Brianna, but he didn't look like he'd started yet. Not a drop of sweat on him, and I could see he still had his car keys in his hand. "We can explain," I said, and he glanced back up at me like he had forgotten we were there.
