Chapter 16 Dane wanted a drink so bad he almost poured himself one in front of his parents. Instead, he got down a glass from the cupboard and filled it with water. He knew they wouldn’t be happy to know how much he drank. The water did little for him, and as he moved aside to let Sean get his own glass, he tamped down the urge to tell his parents to get the hell out. “You see,” his father said, bringing a laptop to the couch and opening it. “Everyone wants substantiated evidence of ghosts. If we do this right, maybe we can get some.” “You don’t care about the wolf?” asked Dane’s mother, pacing around. “Dane, you fine?” “Yeah, Dad.” Dane moved to fill his glass again.
