15. KAYLA I heard a voice. . . It was sweet. It was soothing. I wanted to be lost in it forever. It brought me peace. It made me smile. So I followed it. There was light. It was bright; too bright. I could hardly see but I followed the voice because my life depended on it. "Dear Kayla. . ." the voice said my name and it echoed through out the space. I followed it again until I saw a silhouette of a woman. I could not see her clearly due to the brightness but I knew I had to go to her. "I have seen you and I acknowledge you," she whispered. As I tried to reach her, she seemed to disappear again. A sadness seized my heart as I was not ready to let her go. Suddenly, she appeared before me again.
