My rage blurred my vision.
I stormed out of the room and walked down the corridor. I needed to be alone. I needed to find a place to easily vent my anger.
The hallway was dimly lit and occasionally, maids scurried through it. Diana popped out of the blue and started to smile when she saw me. But my rage did not allow me to grace her with my attention.
She moved out of the way instantly and I could tell that she was staring after me. I ignored her and continued walking. It was when I took the stairs that I realized where I was going.
The terrace at the top of the palace was my destination. I reached it in no time and I felt the cold night air hit me immediately.
