I tried to comfort her, attempting to stem her tears.
She cried because of me. I never intended this. I only asked because her wolf is very distant from mine, which is unusual for werewolves and their mates.
But Silvia had mentioned before that her wolf didn't recognize me as her mate. So, that could be true. In that case, why is my wolf able to sense her scent and claim Silvia as his mate?
"Share with me, Sil. I know it's tough, but I don't want to be kept in the dark like before. I hope more than anything that you share everything with me," I urged.
I can't always be in the dark. She never opens up. That day, I found her with so many marks on her body, and she didn't even talk about it. Then, whatever happened to her, she didn't talk about it, and now her wolf.
