As he spoke, I saw Silvia still in my arms, and they all had guns. I can't let any harm come to her; this is not how it's supposed to go. I immediately looked back at Kevin, who was lying on the floor, but he too looked at me as if he understood.
"Take her and run," I mindlinked him and ordered.
"I can't leave you like this, Alpha. There's no way I'm leaving you alone," Kevin's face scrunched as he answered.
I know it's his duty as Beta to protect me in any situation, at any cost, but Silvia is his Luna too. He can't put her at risk, especially when she is my first priority.
