Silvia Davis POV "Because God graces only a select few with beauty, and my darling daughter is undoubtedly one of His favorites," I pressed a gentle kiss upon her cheek, attempting to ease and, dare I say, reshape the overwhelming challenge that lay ahead. "You're not lying, Mommy, right?" Ashvina questioned, her innocent, doe-like eyes locked onto mine. "Why would I ever deceive my precious gem? Among all, my beautiful daughter stands as the epitome of beauty, unchallenged in my eyes," I assured her. I'm not entirely certain whether I'm mending my own wounded spirit by saying this or if it's Ashvina I'm comforting. Nonetheless, I'm content, whatever the reason may be. But one thing is certain: my daughter will never experience the pain I endured in my journey to reclaim my identity
