I looked up and saw a few people watching us, including some of the employees who quickly looked away as soon as I noticed them.
I forced myself, holding whatever my hands could grab and tried to walk away when Randy’s hand held mine.
“Babe, you can’t leave me now.” I looked into his tears filled eyes and saw sincerity and apology. “I can explain, I swear, it’s not what you think.”
“I want to sit. Please.” Was all I could say.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were married, I never knew you’d find love with another woman. I thought ours was like those romance stories and movies where the male lead would wait for the female lead no matter what. But I guess I’m not the female lead, I’m just the unrequited lover girl character.” She said and turned the baby carrier.
