“Don't you have any aota of shame in you?!” Samantha demanded, prying Carmen off of me. The woman was reluctant to let go and I could see flames brimming over in Sam's eyes. “Let go of her!”
Carmen still held on to me as her tears fell on my feet. I stood rooted to the spot, bile rushing to my throat as I struggled to get my breathing under control. I couldn't believe she was begging me to let go of my mate, my husband.
