For the summer holidays, Gabriel had offered to take Lisa on a cruise. She accepted readily, and was glad for the change of pace.
She had been busy writing her new book which was called “Playing The Player” and which was an alternate version of how she had played –and was still playing– Gabriel.
In the book, the heroine was exacting revenge on her new boss for ruining her father’s company. Of course, she wrote a happy ending, to please her readers since she was a romance writer, but that didn’t mean the ending of her relationship with Gabriel Ferreira would be happy too.
Far from it.
After about three months of writing, and then one more of polishing, the book was finally ready for publishing.
