Lisa was emptying the contents of her stomach when she thought she heard her phone’s ringtone.
As she was brushing her teeth, a couple of minutes later, she heard her door bell ring. She wasn’t expecting anyone. Maybe it’s Karen, she thought.
Her cousin had grown used to coming by often during the week. Ever since she had found out she was pregnant.
She went to open the door, a small smile adorning her face. As she heard the door bell ring once more, she couldn’t help but say “Coming. Jeez, Karen,” the last word died on her mouth as she opened the door, and it revealed someone who most definitely was not Karen.
