I couldn’t get away until after dinner, no matter how hard I tried. My fathers eyes followed me like a hawk, it was only when he disappeared for the evening that I managed it. And I went straight to their hotel room.
It was risky , I knew that. But my feet automatically moved in that direction on their own.
Softly I knocked. But my knuckles had barely rapped over the wood when the door was swung open. And Aden’s seagreen eyes peered at me, crinkling at the edges as he grinned.
“Get in here.” He pulled me inside with enough force to make me stumble into his arms. He wasted no time in folding them around me. So I was trapped against his body. “I thought you would never come.”
