Chapter 5Tristan was anxious and uneasy every time the bell chimed when a customer entered or exited the bakery. He wished he could hide in the kitchen and decorate the cookies or cupcakes, but somebody had to man the cash register. Felicia was taking her fifteen-minute break at the moment, so Tristan had no choice but to stand behind the counter until she returned. Tristan liked most of the customers, especially the regulars, because they weren’t perverted like Linda, and he enjoyed helping them out with their purchases.
