"Why did you whisk me into the hallway so abruptly?" I chuckled, sensing Ava's frustration.
I was well aware that Ava had pulled me aside because I wanted to know if James indeed had feelings for her. It made so much sense, and I wanted to confirm it.
"Do you want me to spill what Liam told me about James?" Ava asked, clearly annoyed, as she rushed me down the hallway.
Despite Ava’s irritation, I was enjoying teasing my sister too much to care.
"Well, all you had to do was bend over, and we could have confirmed it," I joked, causing Ava to blush as she guided me down the stairs, her mind likely going back to Liam's suggestion.
