"Please, tell me you've abandoned that foolish plan of returning to the mountain pack. You can’t go through with it," I questioned Ava as I pulled a chair close to hers by James's hospital bed.
I was aware that Ava’s plan would unsettle James, and he would talk her out of it. I needed James' help convincing Ava it was stupid. Our pack needed Ava as their Luna. And we couldn't let Alfred take Ava away from us.
