I could sense Gloria's embarrassment as I glanced at her face. Unlike me, she had experience with dating and relationships. It occurred to me that she might not even be a virgin. I wasn't bothered by any of that.
"Gloria, it doesn't matter to me how many men you've been with. You're mine now," I reassured her, offering a warm smile as our eyes locked.
