"We should probably start getting ready. We have a big day ahead of us," I said absentmindedly.
Tomorrow is the meeting with the mountain pack, and I don't want Ava to attend.
"You're right, we do," Ava replied, her voice filled with determination.
As Ava got out of bed and hastily put on her dress, which barely covered her body, she added, "My parents set up a debt account to pay off the mountain pack for mine and Gloria's freedom. Can we find a way to settle the debt and move forward?"
